Pat Boguslawski, Polish-born and Paris-based, is a photographer and movement director whose boundary-pushing work has reshaped how models walk, pose and inhabit character on runways and in campaigns. Drawing on a background in dance, acting and modeling, he merges technical precision with raw emotion, a language shaped early on in Poland through classical ballet training and later contemporary practices that strengthened his sense of improvisation, character and expressive physicality.

Over the course of his career, Boguslawski has cultivated deep and influential relationships with many of the fashion industry’s top luxury brands, quickly rising to prominence as a leading movement director. His most defining and enduring collaboration is with John Galliano, a creative partnership that began in 2018 and has grown into a cornerstone of his artistic identity.

From the age of 25, Boguslawski has spearheaded the new generation of movement innovators, leading the way with an avant-garde creativity and intrepid passion. He is also the first movement director that was listed and recognised by BOF 500, class of 2024.

In 2025, after a decade of pioneering work as a movement director, Boguslawski decided to expand his creative scope by pursuing a career in photography. With the support of legendary makeup artist Pat McGrath, who created the makeup for his first editorial, Boguslawski made his debut as a photographer with an editorial for Vogue Japan’s October 2025 Issue, featuring supermodel Natalia Vodianova. This milestone marks the beginning of a new chapter in his multifaceted creative journey.
